Certification route for eligible renewable installations

RECC

Consumer code membership and public directory record

CTSI

Approved Code Scheme protection via RECC

Aftercare

What the accreditations mean for you

This is not a wall of logos. Each marker should help you understand risk, process and where to verify the claim.

A renewable heating system is a major investment. The useful question is what each scheme changes for the customer, what it does not promise and how it sits alongside proper design.

MCS certified mark.

MCS Certified

Public register check recommended

What it means

Eligible renewable heating work is delivered through recognised product, design, installation, commissioning and handover processes.

Why it matters

It gives customers a recognised quality route and can support grant or scheme requirements where the current rules apply.

What it does not mean

It does not replace a project-specific heat loss calculation, quotation, suitability check or grant eligibility check.

RECC Member

RECC public directory record 00076176

What it means

AquaTherma is listed as a member of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code, which sets standards for domestic renewable energy work.

Why it matters

RECC helps customers understand quotations, contracts, deposits, guarantees, complaints routes and after-sales expectations.

What it does not mean

It does not mean every product or scenario is automatically suitable. The project scope, paperwork and terms still need checking.

Trading Standards Approved Code

Approved Code applies through RECC

What it means

RECC is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute as part of the Approved Code Scheme.

Why it matters

This adds independent consumer-protection context around fair information, clear process and complaint handling.

What it does not mean

It is not a separate technical installation certificate. It supports consumer protection through the approved RECC code.

How we keep projects compliant

Compliance is not one final tick box. It is a chain of decisions before, during and after installation.

The same thinking applies whether AquaTherma is designing, installing, commissioning or supporting a system: record the important decisions and hand the system over clearly.

Stage 1

Before installation

  • Property and project review
  • Heat loss calculations
  • Emitter sizing and flow temperature review
  • System design and product specification
  • Clear proposal and scope before commitment
Stage 2

During installation

  • Installation to relevant standards
  • Pipework, controls and plant checks
  • Pressure testing where required
  • Commissioning records and settings
  • Issues recorded and resolved clearly
Stage 3

After handover

  • Customer guidance and system explanation
  • Project documentation and certificates where applicable
  • Aftercare options
  • Servicing recommendations
  • Support for future performance questions

Protection and peace of mind

Confidence before you commit.

AquaTherma's accreditations, consumer code memberships and documented project processes are designed to give customers clearer expectations, safer project delivery and better long-term support.

Ask a Compliance Question

Clear standards

Systems are specified, installed and checked against recognised requirements and the project brief.

Transparent process

Customers understand what is included, what happens next and what documentation should follow.

Aftercare support

Servicing, maintenance and support options help keep the system performing properly after handover.

Proof beyond the logos

Accreditations matter most when they are backed by real design, installation detail, commissioning and handover.

View project proof

Installed by trained engineers, checked by a process.

AquaTherma combines manufacturer training, low-temperature system design and practical aftercare so customers get more than a logo on a quote.
